One of India’s most luxurious & premier residential destinations, UGCC - Amber, with a magnificent golf course as its centrepiece, has utilised Flowcrete India solutions to create aesthetic yet functional surfaces in multiple areas of the site.

Peran Comfort and Peran SL were installed in kitchens, toilets and staff rooms of the Unitech Golf Country Club (UGCC) - Amber. The UGCC-Amber is a 347 acre integrated township of high-end apartments and architecture which includes a 9-hole golf course, and the Amber development is the first phase of its construction.

It was important for the client that these areas had a jointless flooring system, and turned to Flowcrete to deliver a functional yet aesthetic finish. To achieve this, 98m2 of self-smoothing Peran Comfort was installed in restrooms, delivering a satin finish. Peran SL was also applied across 81m2 of kitchen, bathroom and staffing areas for a gloss finish.

To lay the required finishes the substrate had to be prepared by grinding, cutting grooves, priming with Flowprime and then applying the body coat. Peran Comfort was applied in 2mm thicknesses and later sealed with Peran Comfort Sealer whilst Peran SL was laid with a 3mm thickness.

Peran Comfort and SL are ideal solutions for areas such as kitchens and bathrooms that need to withstand chemical attack from food acids and cleaning materials, whilst providing an easy to clean and hygienic floor surface to minimise the risk of bacteria build up.
