Flowcrete India recently teamed up with Sansera Engineering Pvt Ltd to provide a robust industrial flooring system for its automotive engineering plant in Manesar, Haryana.

Sansera is one of a highly exclusive group of engineering companies globally that builds its own CNC-SPMs. It has a vast machine pool and an expert engineering team with the highest levels of technical and professional competence to produce products that are complex and meet the high quality standards of its customers. 

The company’s old epoxy floor was not at all robust or long lasting and was therefore far from ideal to combat the heavy traffic demands of the automobile engineering industry. Therefore Sansera was looking for a floor that would be chemical and abrasion resistant, UV light stable and easy to clean while also providing a low odour installation for its shop area.

Taking all of the client’s considerations into account, Flowcrete’s Flowshield PU and Flowshield UV were chosen as the best options for the floor and subsequently specified for installation in the shop area, spanning 2,000m².

Flowshield PU is a pigmented, 2mm, self-smoothing, chemical resistant polyurethane resin floor finish that is ideal for areas requiring long-term durability and impact resistance such as vehicle workshops, engineering factories and garages.

The project was finished over a period of 10 days in May 2015, to an incredibly high standard and the client was thrilled with its brand new hardwearing flooring system.
