Flowcrete India was thrilled to have taken part in the recently concluded ACETECH 2014 Expo, where its resin flooring solutions garnered a significant level of attention and admiration.

Running from November 6th-9th at Mumbai’s Bombay Convention Centre, this event brought together the architecture, construction, building materials, engineering, interiors and design trades and provided them with the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss the latest trends and plan for the future.

This year’s event was privileged to have the Honourable Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of the Maharashta state, at the grand inaugural event, which experienced a significant quantity of eager visitors.

Large numbers of architects, designers, construction professionals, current Flowcrete applicators and prospective clients from throughout the western region of India flocked to Flowcrete India’s eye-catching red and green stand to find out more about the innovative floor finishes on display.

Flowcrete India’s resin flooring experts guided the visitors through the properties, benefits and practicalities of its Commercial Flooring and Deckshield product ranges, which were being highlighted on the stand.

These systems have been designed to provide fit-for-purpose surfaces that combine high-end aesthetics with durable, easy to maintain properties. Flowcrete India’s team explained to visitors about how specific systems could be installed to ensure a site has a floor area that retains not only an attractive appearance but also functional characteristics that optimise the working environment.

Visitors were impressed by Flowcrete India’s impressive track record and the fact that systems could be specified which would be locally manufactured and which would also help the project to meet environmental standards. A common topic of discussion was the added benefits that clients could expect from Flowcrete floors, rather than just providing the traditional and mandatory flooring requirements.

This exhibition was also a great example of Flowcrete’s collaborative work with other companies under the RPM International Inc. umbrella. Representatives from the Euclid Chemical Company and Tremco shared Flowcrete India’s stand so that they could inform the region’s construction market of their products whilst providing an exceptional level of expertise for the attendees.

Euclid Chemical’s Increte range of construction chemicals products and its decorative stamped concrete products received a very warm welcome during the event. Tremco’s Technical Director James Dunaway was a valuable source of knowledge on the stand and supplied information and literature on Tremco’s innovative building materials.
