Flowcrete India are participating in Foodpro 2017, the 12th edition of India’s biennial event on food processing, packaging and technology, which takes place this week at the Chennai Trade Centre from the 7th-9th September.
CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) launched its first Foodpro show in 1995 to bring the focus on food processing technologies and other value added services to the industry - which over the years has grown into a key exhibition for food processing technology.
India continues to be one of the top producers in the amount of food grains, fruits, dairy products, poultry and meat products that it manufactures.
Foodpro 2017 is the ideal platform for the food technology sector to interface with the food industry. To add value to the show and focus on the growing sector, CII has decided to add two more shows to run alongside Foodpro 2017 - ColdStoRe and T-Food.
ColdStoRe will focus on the complete cold chain from the primary cold storage facility for food grains and fruits at farm level to high-end cold storage for meat and food products, including the important sector of cold/refrigerated transportation.
T-Food is a traditional food festival, which aims to generate interest in traditional and local Indian foods. It will present traditional processed foods prepared in a healthy way as well as share new recipes and methods of cooking traditional dishes. The festival will also be an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase developments in traditional food processing.
With the food industry being prone to frequent contamination, due to spillages, heavy impacts and varied thermal conditions, industrial facilities require a safe working environment to guarantee that all produce is unspoiled and of a high quality.
To provide the food industry with a floor finish that helps to create an ultra-hygienic working environment, Flowcrete has created the Flowfresh range. Every Flowfresh floor includes the antibacterial additive Polygiene®, a silver-ion based agent that is able to eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria that comes into contact with the floor.
Flowcrete India’s HACCP International certified, antibacterial, cementitious urethane range of products will be displayed at booth 45.
