Second Successful Showing at the Annual CII Flooring Technology Conference

For a second year running, Flowcrete India is delighted to have acted as co-sponsor to the recent Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) ‘Advances & Technologies in Residential & Commercial Flooring’ conference and exhibition, held at the Sheraton Hotel in Bangalore (26 - 27 September 2017).

The second outing of the event saw an increased number of construction industry professionals, distributors, applicators and delegates descend on the Sheraton’s Grand Ballroom to learn more about the latest innovations within the flooring sector.

The conference featured a 40 keynote presentations from speakers of varying backgrounds over two days alongside breakout sessions led by more than hundred experts working in different verticals of the flooring industry.

The 2017 conference addressed global trends and new technologies as well as floor care and maintenance and speciality floor finishes suitable for small and large commercial facilities.

As co-chairman of the event, Mr Vivekanandan - Vice President for Flowcrete India - hosted a speaker slot presenting on one of the company’s newest product lines ’Comfort Resins’, where he shared insights on the combined benefits of comfort and care when selecting these finishes for institutional buildings and commercial venues.

Comfort resins or ‘liquid vinyl’ resin systems have been growing in popularity across India in recent years. This type of resin flooring provides the comfort properties typically associated with cushion vinyl but with the additional benefits of a seamless, hygienic and durable resin floor.

The seamless, impervious nature of these resin floors makes them easy to clean, which means that they are well suited to environments with strict hygiene requirements. These systems retain a crack-free finish for the long term, avoiding the need for frequent repairs or early refurbishments in order to provide a solution that is not just functional, but which is also economical.

Flowcrete Group Technical Director, Mr Grant Adamson, alongside Flowcrete India’s new Executive Director, Mr Anil Anjanappa, led further keynote presentations addressing the different decorative resin systems available and the correct cleaning and maintenance of resin finishes when operational.
